Caring for Your Custom Patch Hat
Keep your custom patch hat looking its best by following the care instructions for the specific cap and patch material you ordered.
Check the cap care label
Follow the manufacturer instructions for your cap model. If instructions are missing, contact the shop before washing.
Start with gentle cleaning
Test any cleaner in a small inconspicuous area. Avoid aggressive scrubbing on the engraving or patch edge. Do not assume a cap is machine-washable or dryer-safe.
Protect the patch
Avoid prolonged soaking, high heat, and harsh cleaners unless the manufacturer specifically permits them. Let damp areas dry naturally away from direct heat.
Ask about your material
Leatherette is synthetic and differs from genuine leather. Ask TG Hat Co for material-specific care advice if you are unsure.
